Spring Flowers Fundraising Campaign

Special Olympics Belleville & Quinte West 

at the same time. 

Special Olympics Belleville & Quinte West is selling flower seeds and Bulbs from Canadian supplier Vessey's.   

 

Catalogs and order forms are available from your athletes coach or can be viewed online and order forms printed.

Completed forms can be provided to your Special Olympics Coach with payment.  Orders received without payment will not be accepted.

 

Orders are due by March 31st.  

Plants bulbs and seeds will be delivered in Mid-April to May as determined by Vessey's and is based on our areas growing season.  More concrete dates will be made available as they are known.

Quinte West Rock A/B level Basketball Team News

The Quinte West Rock A/B level basketball program will start up on February 12th 730pm-9pm.
PLEASE NOTE THIS TEAM WILL NOW BE PRACTICING AT PRINCE CHARLES PS (138 Dufferin St. Trenton)

Special Olympics Belleville and Quinte West would like to thank Belleville Youth Soccer Club for it's generous donation of Soccer shorts and Soccer socks.  
This donation will be invaluable to to offsetting uniform costs for Special Olympics Soccer athletes this summer.

Call For Volunteers To Fill District Administrative Positions

Special Olympics Ontario is looking for volunteers with a strong administrative background to fill district level administrative positions in Eastern Ontario.

The District Administrative Team (DAT) consists of an Administrative Lead, Financial Lead and Secretary. For a full outline of duties and responsibilities please visit section 5.0 on the Information Portal.

All interested applicants should contact their District Developer and fill in the application form found HEREby Oct 1, 2016.

 Applicants may be contacted for an interview and references may be checked.

District Administrative Team selections will be voted at the DAT meeting to be held October 23, 2016 announced following notification of all applicants.

Volunteer Opportunities in 2015

Summer programs are nearing and volunteers are needed for a few of our sport programs in Belleville and Quinte West

Softball
  • T-Ball in Belleville: Wednesday evenings 1 hour weekly commitment
Track & Field
  • Belleville: 1 hour weekly commitment + tournaments
Soccer
  • Quinte West: A Level and Youth team- 2 hours weekly + tournaments

Volunteers are required to complete an Online Registration Form and supply an original Police Records Check with vulnerable sector screening obtained withing the previos 6 month period.
